My Friend's House exists to follow the teachings of Jesus about feeding the hungry, clothing those who need it, and the other things He listed in Matthew. We know that we cannot be all things to all people, so we try to do some of the little things for as many as we can. At this point in time, we operate a small homeless shelter. It won't hold a lot of folks, but hopefully will help a few. Feel free to contribute to the Blog, to ask questions or make comments. Thanks for joining us.

Good Intentions Go Away Too Quickly

I will finish this, but for reasons that escape me, I could not write anything on the post. The good intentions were what I had for posting every day or two. The first picture is taken approaching the shelter. It has rained since this was taken, so it does not look quite so dry.The second was taken while the housemovers were still working, and the third is Dave's almost 98 year old mother who wanted to see what it was all about, and judging from her smile, was happy about it. She is happy about it, and has been very supportive. The young man there is Randall, our son, helping his grandmother get down the cement block that is the step.
